Emily Harris
Psychiatric Social Worker, LAUSD
Welcome!
About me
Hello! Welcome to my Virtual Office. My name is Emily Harris and I am a Psychiatric Social Worker with Los Angeles Unified School District. I work with three different elementary schools: Hillcrest Drive Elementary School, Baldwin Hills Elementary School, and 6th Avenue Elementary School. I completed my Masters of Social Work from USC this past May and it is my first year as a PSW with LAUSD. I am originally from Maine but moved to Los Angeles in 2016, spending two years working in high schools in LAUSD prior to graduate school. I enjoy this work because I have a passion for connecting with students, families, and communities. If we have a virtual meeting, you may meet my cat, Keenon (he loves the camera). Thank you for taking the time to get to know me, and I look forward to working with you this year!
